TigerFoam Canada Achieves Canadian Construction Materials Centre (CCMC) Evaluation for Spray Foam Insulation
Petrolia, ON—TigerFoam Canada, Inc., supplier of the Do-It-Yourself Polyurethane Spray-Foam Insulation Kit, recently completed its Canadian Construction Materials Centre (CCMC) evaluation for innovative non-standardized materials for use in all types of construction. The successful CCMC evaluation demonstrates that the TigerFoam insulation has been thoroughly assessed in terms of product safety, performance, and usability.
“The CCMC product evaluation will greatly help consumers, architects, engineers, and inspectors in understanding that the TigerFoam Spray-Foam insulation system complies to the requirements of the National Building Code of Canada,” said Rob Irvine, the president of TigerFoam Canada. “This evaluation will also give end users and specifiers confidence that they are using an enhanced-performance product that both meets and exceeds the construction and renovation industry expectations. By voluntarily undergoing the assessment, TigerFoam is demonstrating a commitment to excellence in this field.”
TigerFoam polyurethane insulation has been recently used in high profile applications such as the construction of the 2010 Winter Olympic Athletes Village in Vancouver.
