ONE STEP Foam Eliminates Need for Ignition and Thermal Barriers

Preferred Solutions, Inc., introduced Staycell ONE STEP 255 closed-cell foam insulation as the first and only spray-applied foam insulation that complies with U.S. building codes for occupied and unoccupied locations without the need to install costly thermal barrier or ignition barrier fire-protective surfaces in most applications.

The Class A product is listed and labeled by Quality Auditing Institute for compliance with the International Building Code, International Residential Code and AC 377 Acceptance Criteria of the International Code Council. Staycell ONE STEP 255 is used to insulate roofs, ceilings, walls, and structural steel and as an air barrier in building envelope assemblies. The product utilizes an Environmental Protection Agency-approved, zero-ozone depleting blowing agent containing no CFC’s, HCFC’s or VOC’s. Founded in 1984, PSI manufactures its foam products and fire-protective coatings at its Cleveland, Ohio facility.

All products are installed by a national network of factory-trained Authorized Applicators.
